Stated meetings

2nd & 4th Thursdays

At 7:30

Our doors are always open! We practice the principles that make our country great — at Masonic lodges, all men are equal, regardless of income, race, or religion. There are over 13,000 lodges in the U.S. You’ll find one in most small towns, and large cities usually have several. You can travel almost any place in the world and find the warm hand of brotherhood extended to you.

Freemasons believe their principles represent
a way to achieve higher standards in life.

BROTHERLY LOVE
Every true Freemason will show tolerance and respect for the opinion of others and behave with kindness and understanding.

RELIEF
Freemasons practice charity and care for their own as well as the community as a whole both by charitable giving and by voluntary work as individuals.

TRUTH
Freemasons strive for truth, requiring high moral standards and ethical conduct at all times.

Ben Hur joins with VFW Post 7397 for “Platoons Forward”

Platoons Forward is a program to provide comfort items to Infantry Platoons and Companies deployed to remote mountain top Combat Out Posts.  These units do not have access to facilities such as Mess Halls and Post Exchanges.  They are supported by helicopter delivered “bullets and beans”.  In coordination with the Company First Sergeant, a unit “Wish List” is developed.  Items are collected and the VFW ships them to the First Sergeant for distribution to the men.  Ben Hur has agreed to help rally the community and collect comfort items and or cash to cover shipping for this worthy cause.  If you would like to donate please stop by the Lodge we have a collection box there.  You can also visit the VFW website for a current wish list. Community Work Day, April 24

On April 24th Ben Hur members will be volunteering at Habitat for Humanity to help the Argentine community.  Habitat for Humanity is building roughly 15 new homes in the Argentine community and Ben Hur members will be there to help.  We have been asked to work at least four hour shifts from 8am to 4pm on April 24th.  Our help is needed at the home constructions sites or if you do not feel comfortable doing that you can help at the Habitat Restore, which is a outlet store for surplus building supplies run by Habitat for Humanity.   We look forward to seeing you there and hope you can help us make a difference in our community.  For more information you can contact Brother Andrew Scianna
